Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to join our team as a Systems Administrator / CMMC Implementation Specialist. This role is primarily on-site to enable effective coordination and collaboration with our team and partners. Occasional remote work may be possible, but in-person presence is expected.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage Prevailance's IT infrastructure (Office 365, Intune, Entra, Power Automate, Virtual Machines, Networking)
- Generate reports on Cybersecurity program to be given in monthly meetings to program stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in alignment with CMMC 2.0
- Perform yearly internal assessments of IT systems and documentation against CMMC 2.0 requirements to maintain full compliance
- Perform software and hardware upgrades on Prevailance systems
- Manage Prevailance's IT assets on a logistical level (deployment, archival, end-of-life dates)
- Prepare and lead the company through any upcoming CMMC 2.0 assessments
- Identify and evaluate software and hardware solutions to meet business operational and security needs
- Work with the direct labor force to find technical solutions to customer needs
- Plan and lead yearly Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercises to test the organization's incident response capabilities
- Update and manage annual and initial cybersecurity trainings for employees
- Write and publish monthly Cybersecurity newsletters
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Strong technical writing skills (i.e. cybersecurity policies, procedures, training materials, newsletters)
- Strong understanding of the following:
- Managing information life-cycles
- NIST 800-171rev2 documentation
- CMMC 2.0 technical controls, administrative controls, and legal implications
- At least 1 year's experience implementing and managing a CMMC 2.0 (or other NIST-based security standards) environment
- At least 1 year's experience in vulnerability management
- At least 1 year's experience administrating the following:
- Office 365 environment (GCCH preferred)
- Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID
- Linux servers
- Windows endpoints / servers
- Virtualization technologies (Proxmox preferred, VMWare and Windows HyperV acceptable)
Desired Experience:
- Administrating network firewalls & switches
- Administrating Security Event Management systems and performing detection rule tuning
- Developing and facilitating table-top incident response exercises
- Developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate flows
- Deploying and maintaining Docker applications
- Packaging and deploying applications for Intune
- Working with DoD-contractor specific technologies (i.e. CACs, DoD access certifications)
Desired Certification:
- DoD Approved 8140 (DoDD8570) IAT certification of at least level II (i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND) preferred; selected candidate must be able to obtain required certifications within 12 months of start date, * Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security (preferred) or related field (Associate's Degree acceptable with 3 years relevant experience)
