Job description
Insight Global is seeking a C++ Engineer to support one of our DoD clients onsite in the Oklahoma City area. The role will be specific to training systems and be responsible for the design, manufacture, development, and maintenance of a wide variety of commercial and military training devices. The applicant would be primarily supporting the E7 Training System platforms. ecure Network & Protocols, you will focus on of solutions such as the integration of software E7IAB (E-7 in a box) program. As a Software Engineer, you will assess current software architecture, documentation, and environments for a seamless transition of upgrade and integration into lab facilities. Due to the nature of work, this position is expected to be 100% onsite. You will work closely with a lot of government based stakeholders and customers to work on these platforms and build the systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 6+ years of experience in either C++,C#, C, Rust or other programming languages
- Well versed in Window and/or Linux distributions
- Proficiency with Visual Studio IDE, Git (version control)
- Experience in agile development environments
- Familiarity in project management tools such as (JIRA, VersionOne etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including weapons, night vision system, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, flight controls, etc.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with SAFe methodologies and/or other Agile frameworks
- Experience in aerodynamics, Guidance and Control (G&C), sensor modeling, DIS/HLA (Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA), electronic warfare, and/or communications systems
- Experience in integrating fighter platform and adversary systems onto the network
Benefits & conditions
$65/hr to $82/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
