Job description
- IT Controlling
- Plan, manage and monitor the IT budget in coordination with the Head of IT
- Produce monthly IT cost reports and variance analyses
- Build and maintain an IT service catalogue including internal cost allocation
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for IT investments and projects
- Contribute to year-end close and IT planning processes
- Licence & Asset Management
- Manage the full software licence portfolio (Microsoft, Autodesk, SAP, cloud services etc.)
- Ensure licence compliance and conduct regular audits
- Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) including hardware assets
- Optimise licence utilisation through usage analysis and consolidation
- Manage the full hardware lifecycle (procurement, operation, disposal)
- Contract & Procurement
- Manage and monitor all IT contracts (terms, conditions, renewals)
- Manage the IT procurement process from requisition to invoice verification
- Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with IT vendors
- Conduct vendor selection and evaluation (RFP/RFQ processes)
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics or Administration, IT Management or comparable
- Several years of experience in at least two of the three areas (controlling, licence or contract management)
- Knowledge of common licence models (Microsoft EA, Autodesk, cloud subscriptions)
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and CMDB
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of ERP/procurement systems an advantage
- Analytical mindset with strong affinity for numbers
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness with suppliers
- Structured, self-directed working style
- Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and external partners in German and English
