Job description
- Support the production deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS and on-premises environments.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable, highly available cloud-native infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows using GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Support the operation and optimization of MLOps platforms for production machine learning workloads.
- Collaborate closely with software development and security teams to implement secure, resilient platform architectures.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues while driving continuous improvements.
- Contribute to the implementation of security, compliance, and operational best practices across the platform landscape.
Requirements
- Y Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or MLOps within complex IT environments.
- Strong expertise in operating production Kubernetes platforms across AWS and on-premises infrastructures.
- Tech Stack: Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, GitOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD and/or Flux, Grafana, Prometheus, Infrastructure as Code; experience with MLOps platforms is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, networking, and platform automation.
- Knowledge of the German BSI IT-Grundschutz framework is considered an advantage.
- Professional proficiency in English and German (C1 or higher).
