Job description
- Analysis of avionics system design/requirements and customer requirements
- Definition and adaptation of design requirements to mission data generation software incl. workflow definition
- Further development of functions such as emitter data extraction from RF emitter database, mission data programming for mission computer, data management or mission data consistency checks, taking into account higher-level architectural goals and optimization in the case of necessary trade-offs
- Generate technical documentation, e.g., software requirements specification, software interface control document and software test plan/procedures, based on system/subsystem specification
- Develop automated executable test which address technical specification verification requirements
- Participation in and preparation of meetings with customer representatives as well as internal stakeholders
- Supporting the further development of the agile way of working as a team task
Requirements
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace or comparable
- Work experience in the field of IT/Information Systems and Aerospace
- Working knowledge of one of more of the following specialty areas related to self-defensive systems, radar system and electronic support system
- Knowledge of systems/software engineering lifecycle and experience in all phases of it
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles and interest in mission data for Electronic Warfare Support
- Experienced in MS-Office and doors
- Knowledge of Web-based application software UI requirements and design principles
- Familiarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence) and version control (Git) will be a plus
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken
