Job description
The selected researcher will participate in activities including:
- Design and development of embedded electronic systems.
- Design and implementation of hardware and software solutions for intelligent systems.
- Development of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
- FPGA and embedded platform programming.
- Experimental validation and performance evaluation.
- Preparation of scientific publications and technical reports.
- Participation in dissemination and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Collaboration with project partners and participation in consortium meetings.
- Support in project management and technical documentation., Candidates will be evaluated on a maximum score of 100 points, according to the criteria established in the call. Evaluation will consider:
- Research and Professional Experience
- Previous research or professional experience related to embedded systems, electronics, AI or project activities.

Requirements
The Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) invites applications for a Researcher (ICP2 - Master's degree or equivalent, MECES 3) position within the research line focused on embedded electronic systems and artificial intelligence.
The successful candidate will join a competitive research project funded by national and European research programmes and will carry out research activities at the University Institute for Applied Microelectronics (IUMA), contributing to the design and implementation of advanced embedded systems and AI-based solutions., Master Degree or equivalent, Master's degree or equivalent (MECES 3), * A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Previous knowledge and/or experience in embedded systems, digital electronics, FPGA programming, artificial intelligence or related technologies.
- English language proficiency appropriate for participation in international research projects.
