Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lincolnshire to assist with the appointment of a PSTN & Broadband Line Audit, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., * Audit and validate all PSTN and broadband lines across Council sites.

  • Compile and maintain a complete inventory of telecoms assets.
  • Capture and verify line information, including ownership, supplier, costs, and business use.
  • Liaise with service owners and site contacts to confirm whether services should be retained or ceased.
  • Produce and maintain an accurate audit register and evidence trail.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced contractor to undertake a comprehensive audit of PSTN and broadband lines across Lincolnshire County Council. You will validate telecoms assets, engage with stakeholders to confirm business requirements, identify opportunities for cost savings, and produce detailed audit reports and recommendations. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder engagement, and experience managing large-scale infrastructure or telecoms audits., * Experience delivering telecoms, network, infrastructure, or asset audits.

  • Strong understanding of PSTN, broadband circuits, leased lines, and telecoms services.
  • Experience managing and analysing large datasets using Excel or similar tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate audit records and evidence for governance purposes.
  • Experience working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across Lincolnshire.
