Job description

  • Leading business case development, governance papers and approval gateways
  • Setting up project governance, delivery structures, work packages and controls
  • Managing programmes, delivery plans, RAID logs, highlight reporting and assurance
  • Overseeing development budgets, cashflow forecasts and financial monitoring
  • Coordinating funding strategies, including grant claims and reporting
  • Leading procurement of consultants/contractors and supporting mobilisation
  • Stakeholder management across internal services and external partners

Requirements

This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong governance, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate finance, procurement, legal and technical stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on track for time, cost and outcomes., * Significant experience in housing development, regeneration, development delivery or capital programme management

  • Strong business case and report writing capability, comfortable with governance boards
  • Confident managing budgets, appraisals, cashflows and financial risk/variance
  • Strong procurement and stakeholder management experience in a public sector setting
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent experience). PRINCE2/MSP/APM and/or CIH/CIOB/RICS membership desirable
