Job description

We are working with a growing Odoo services partner that needs a Support / AMS (Application Management Services) Analyst to look after a portfolio of live Odoo customers. You will be the day-to-day point of contact for users who need help keeping their ERP running smoothly, resolving incidents, answering "how do I" questions, and turning recurring pain points into lasting improvements. It is a role for someone who enjoys problem solving, likes talking to end users, and wants to deepen their functional Odoo expertise across multiple modules., You will triage and resolve support tickets against agreed SLAs, investigating issues across core Odoo modules such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase and CRM. You will reproduce and diagnose problems, apply configuration changes, document root causes, and escalate genuine bugs to the technical team with clear reproduction steps. Alongside reactive support you will handle small change requests, build reports, run user training refreshers, and feed trends back to account managers so clients get proactive advice rather than just fixes.

Requirements

Hands-on Odoo experience is essential, whether gained as a power user, in a previous AMS/support seat, or through implementation work. You should be comfortable configuring two or more core modules (Accounting and Inventory are especially valued) and confident reading basic Python and XML to understand how customisations behave. Just as important are strong communication skills: the ability to explain a fix in plain business language, stay calm under a busy ticket queue, and build trust with clients. Any exposure to ticketing tools, SQL, or Odoo Studio is a bonus.

Benefits & conditions

A permanent role with a clear path to grow into senior support, functional consultancy, or a specialist module track. You will get structured hybrid working out of Reading, a discretionary bonus, pension, funded Odoo certifications, and exposure to a varied client base rather than a single system. The team is collaborative and values people who want to keep learning.
