Job description

  • Support the full systems engineering lifecycle including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, validation, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Will support one to three product lines
  • Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams including software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and test organizations.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Facilitate integration activities between government, contractor, and third-party systems.
  • Track technical risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while developing mitigation strategies.
  • Support system testing activities, including integration testing, functional testing, acceptance testing, and operational demonstrations.
  • Will be responsible for full system test fit, cable system, turn system on, run quick checkouts, etc.
  • Conduct technical reviews, design reviews, and status briefings with program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Assist with configuration management, change management, and technical baseline control.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issues in development, test, and operational environments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and software engineering teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements and security standards.
  • Participate in Agile, DevSecOps, or traditional systems engineering processes as required by the program.
  • Oversees work of Journeyman and Junior engineers and functions independently with minimal supervision from more senior engineers.
  • Help support installs at remote locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen (Green Card is not eligible)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred or must be clearable
  • 8 to 11 years of related experience required
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience developing and managing system requirements and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable with minimal oversight within a flat, collaborative management organization and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or Federal Government programs.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile development environments and DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering frameworks such as INCOSE or DoD acquisition processes.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, DOORS, Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of cloud, networking, cybersecurity, or software development concepts.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Open to technical mentorship and feedback
