The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) and NAVFAC regional Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs). The primary goal of the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements. In support of this effort the System Administrator will work as part of a team providing a variety of tasks to the US Navy to include: system administration, virtual machine creation and Video Management System monitoring, and compliance checks. In this role, you will:

Create and manage VCenter servers and infrastructure

Manage Active Directory and Group Policy within in our environment

Configure and maintain database servers and processes

Manage NetApp and UCS Mini infrastructure

Verify NetApp backup and recovery health
-
Update and upgrade current NetApp and UCS Mini products

Ensure optimum UCS Mini Health to increase uptime

Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security

Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
-
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
-
Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting with PSIM and PSIM related issues

Work alongside PSAC team to develop process improvements

Review PSIM hierarchy and creates ways to increase uptime and prevent program downtime

Create SOP's and documentation for work completed

Review Loupe Logs after outage to find root cause
Requirements
- High School diploma
- A Bachelors degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience)
- 6 years of specialized experience
- Experience managing NetApp and Cisco UCS Mini's
- Ability to create Standard Operating Procedure documentation for designs and implementation strategies of new hardware and software deployment
- Ability to travel up 10% of the time locally
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Possess the following certification: Windows Operating System and Windows Server, CCNA, and VMWare, with a strong understanding of current Microsoft supported windows operating systems
- Experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Window's Active Directory infrastructure to include Group Policy Object management experience, VMware ESXi server, data base solutions to include Microsoft SQL and Oracle, BackupExec, Acronis, and Crystal Reports
