Job description

The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the organization's day-to-day technology operations. This role helps ensure that computer systems, networks, software, hardware, and user support services operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. The IT Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees, work hand in hand with our 3rd party IT company, vendors, and technical teams, helping resolve issues, track requests, maintain documentation, and support IT projects., * Identify opportunities to streamline office and administrative workflows through better use of technology, automation, or process redesign.

  • Provide first-level technical support for employees, including troubleshooting devices, software, network, printer, phone, and user access issues.
  • Assist with building or documenting new internal processes, templates, and standard operating procedures for office and IT operations.
  • Generate and format operational and administrative reports by pulling data from company systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, project or ERP platforms).
  • Support basic data organization, cleanup, and processing tasks as needed by management or operations staff.
  • Log, prioritize, track, and follow up on IT support requests to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with employees.
  • Coordinate installation, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate device allocation, software, license, warranty, and asset inventory records.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access permissions, equipment preparation, and system orientation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, purchases, installations, renewals, and technical support.
  • Help monitor system performance, network connectivity, and equipment availability, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Prepare and maintain IT documentation, user guides, procedures, inventory reports, and support records.
  • Assist with IT projects such as software implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements as needed.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to employees on company systems, software tools, security practices, and technology procedures.

Changes may be made formally or informally, either verbally or in writing., This position may require occasional lifting or movement of computer equipment, availability for planned maintenance or urgent technical issues, and regular interaction with employees across departments. The IT Coordinator is expected to maintain a professional, service-oriented approach while supporting secure and reliable technology operations.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, systems coordination, technical administration, or a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, basic networking, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, document solutions, and escalate problems appropriately.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, data security, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, tracking purchase requests, comparing quotes, or supporting IT procurement activities.
  • Bilingual- Spanish required
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, networking equipment, or cloud-based business platforms, preferred.
  • Comfort working with Excel or similar tools for basic data manipulation, reporting, and formatting.
