Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide remote and local system users with first line Help Desk support related to software applications and hardware. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Answer incoming Tech Support calls and effectively utilize the Help Desk and asset management systems
  • Deploy, ship, track, and refurbish Windows workstations and perform regular routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on workstations or virtual machines
  • Create and Remove users in both Entra and Active Directory including setting up appropriate groups and permissions
  • Add users to systems including internal systems, Secure File Transfer protocol, and facility databases in SQL and ensure appropriate access based on permissions
  • Train new users on UASI system use & basic Microsoft 365 tools
  • Answer calls and resolve tickets during after-hours call rotation
  • Apply updates to servers during monthly system maintenance
  • Troubleshoot basic issues with Office, Exchange, Teams and internal systems

Requirements

  • Competence with Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 11 and Azure Virtual Desktops)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in remote desktop troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of networked computing
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a related field, or at least 2 years equivalent work experience, * Knowledge of healthcare system requirements & HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of database design, query, and maintenance, data warehouses, and Quickbase
  • Power BI dashboard and query building
