Job description

Following our successful traction internationally, with significant WINs with Fortune 500 companies, and a growing focus on the US, and with a few BIG opportunities in the US, we are expanding and looking to grow our technical sales team with a Solution Architect / Technical Sales Engineer. This individual will partner closely with our US Sales Director, providing the technical expertise and hands-on support needed to secure and expand high-value accounts in critical infrastructure sectors., We are seeking a highly technical, customer-focused Solution Architect who can navigate both pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will be the bridge between our US clients and Salvador's product and R&D teams, ensuring seamless implementation, resolution of technical challenges, and growth of customer relationships.

As our first US-based Solution Architect, you will:

  • Support technical discovery and solution design in pre-sales engagements.
  • Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Run POCs and customer pilots to demonstrate our platform's value.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite.
  • Collaborate with product and R&D to communicate customer feedback and feature requests.
  • Ensure successful post-sales support, including expansions and upsell opportunities.
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for enterprise-level clients in OT environments.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct technical discovery calls to understand customer needs and map them to our solution.
  • Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations to prospects and customers.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) projects and assist with deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges-both remotely and onsite.
  • Provide feedback to Product and R&D on feature enhancements and client needs.
  • Work closely with the US sales team to expand and upsell existing accounts.
  • Establish strong relationships with CISOs, OT security leaders, and plant managers.
  • Assist in RFP/RFI responses and solution architecture design., * Shape our U.S. technical organization from the ground up. As our first U.S.-based Solution Architect, you'll play a foundational role in how we support customers and scale our technical sales function.
  • Make a measurable impact. Help manufacturers, utilities, energy providers, and other critical infrastructure organizations stay operational in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
  • Work alongside executive leadership. Partner directly with our U.S. Sales Director, Product, and R&D teams to influence product direction, customer success, and market expansion.

Requirements

  • Candidates must currently reside in Michigan.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant supporting OT/ICS cybersecurity solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with industrial environments, including manufacturing, utilities, energy, water/wastewater, or other critical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), OT networks, industrial protocols, and OT cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience leading technical discovery, solution architecture, customer demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise cybersecurity or resilience platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% for customer meetings, PoCs, and onsite technical support.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
