Job description
Azure Infrastructure: Build and manage Azure resources (VNets, Load Balancers, Key Vault, Container Registry, etc.) through Terraform and Bicep.
- Kubernetes Operations: Support deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting of AKS clusters.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and enhance pipelines in GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, integrating automated testing and security scanning.
- GitOps Automation: Contribute to GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux for consistent deployments.
- Observability: Improve metrics, alerting, and dashboards via Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Azure Monitor.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for infrastructure, CI/CD, and operational processes.
- Incident Response: Participate in production incident management, troubleshooting, and blameless postmortems.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with development and QA teams to implement DevOps best practices and self-service capabilities., * Onboarding: Learn the basics of your role, the company culture, and the expectations from your manager and team. Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer with strong Azure cloud engineering and Kubernetes experience to help evolve our SaaS infrastructure and CI/CD practices. You'll be deeply involved in hands-on automation, infrastructure-as-code, observability improvements, and delivery enablement across multiple teams., At HR Acuity®, we empower our team to #BeBold-embracing innovation and new challenges. - Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions (or Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- SaaS or cloud-native platform experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
- Must be able to consistently work EST hours.
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VNets, Load Balancers, Key Vault, and Container Registry.
- Practical experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and Helm.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Skilled in observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Working knowledge of Azure identity, RBAC, and network security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and production issues effectively.
- Experience collaborating with developers and QA teams to enable DevOps best practices.
- Understanding of DevSecOps concepts and how to integrate security into the CI/CD process.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments.
