Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. In this role, you will harness your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and database management to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making, process improvements, and business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments, utilize cutting-edge tools, and contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment., * Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify trends and patterns.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Design and optimize database structures using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with Talend or similar tools to integrate data from multiple sources seamlessly.
  • Collaborate within Agile project management frameworks to plan, execute, and deliver data-driven solutions on time.
  • Support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Conduct business analysis by translating operational needs into technical specifications and actionable insights.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Python for automation and data manipulation tasks.
  • Engage in Linked Data initiatives to enhance data connectivity across platforms for richer insights.
  • Create comprehensive documentation using Visio or similar tools for database design and process workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analysis with strong skills in SQL programming and analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend or equivalent data integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for scripting and automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience working within SDLC frameworks ensuring quality delivery of analytics projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly across diverse teams.
