Job description
The IT Product Analyst I is responsible for configuring, building, audit, testing, deploying, and supporting technology products throughout their lifecycle. This role partners closely with product management, development, and operations teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable product capabilities. The Product Analyst uses systemic processes and tools to avoid unexpected issues, maintain system stability, update system records, and support faster incident resolution., * Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to understand product vision, objectives, and priorities
- Participate in requirements elicitation and document functional and non-functional requirements for technology products and enhancements
- Support backlog refinement activities, including prioritization, dependency identification, and scope clarification
- Participate in the creation of test plans and execution of test plans to validate product functionality, data integrity, and user experience
- Execute ETL jobs for proprietary and commercial products/applications
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of product changes
- Design, develop, and enhance product features and services in collaboration with cross-functional product teams
- Translate product and business requirements into well-architected, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to product backlog execution by implementing, testing, and delivering potentially shippable increments
- Develop, execute, and maintain application workflows and configurations using approved frameworks and technologies
- Participate in architectural and design discussions, providing recommendations where applicable
- Assist in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation for product issues
- Partner with support and operations teams to ensure effective monitoring, documentation, and incident response
- Participates in creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational procedures
- Create and maintain users and their access to application
- Stay current with selected technologies, tools, and best practices and apply them appropriately
- Perform daily reconciliations of records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Audit files and records to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Verify counts/balances match across systems on a daily basis
- Conduct routine data audits to ensure integrity of inventory records
- Investigate and resolve variances between source documents and system records
- Maintain daily reconciliation logs and escalate unresolved discrepancies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Experience translating business needs into technical or configuration-based solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills goals
- Experience with Microsoft 365, strong Excel skills
- Experience with SQL and Agile
- Ability to travel to local offices
- Ability to operate independently
- Demonstrates a growth mindset
- Comfortable working onsite
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 0-3 years of experience in application configuration or a related IT role
PREFERRED
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience supporting configurable enterprise applications
- Experience supporting client implementations or multi-tenant product environments
