Job description
We're looking for a Systems Administrator V who will serve as the technical expert for a portfolio of business-critical systems, including Microsoft technologies, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), cloud platforms, and custom applications. The Systems Administrator V will influence platform strategy, optimize system performance, lead release management initiatives, and help modernize the way technology is delivered across the organization., * Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for assigned enterprise systems and applications.
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of critical platforms.
- Design, implement, and improve release management processes for application, configuration, and data changes.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues, minimizing downtime and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Expand monitoring capabilities and proactively identify opportunities to improve system health and performance.
- Optimize system configurations to improve scalability, efficiency, and user experience.
- Manage user access, permissions & governance while maintaining security best practices.
- Coordinate vendor software releases, testing, and production deployments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience.
- 5+ years of systems administration experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- 3+ years of release management experience, including CI/CD processes, Intune deployments, and Golden Image methodologies for virtual machines.
- 2+ years of experience with system integration setup, maintenance, or expansion using REST APIs, webhooks, and/or automation tools
- Experience designing IT operational processes and workflows.
- Strong background supporting enterprise applications & resolving complex technical issues.
- Working knowledge of coding languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#).
- Experience in creating enterprise-level systems monitoring, cloud telephony management, and/or multi-operating system environments strongly preferred
Benefits & conditions
This is a full-time position with the ability to work on-site (75 days/year remote) in either Carrollton, TX, or Vancouver, WA. COMP: Salary: $120K-$128K + bonus depending on candidates experience, etc. WHAT OUR CLIENT OFFERS:
