Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Senior Java Developer for their client in the insurance industry. In this role, you will participate in and contribute to solution design discussions, meaningfully contribute to requirements gathering and refinement sessions, and as part of a scrum team, deliver high quality production-ready code, perform code reviews, and mentor more junior developers. You will work across the full stack - from CSS to database schema design - while assisting with production issues and code promotions. What You Will Be Accountable For
- Participate in and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Meaningfully contribute to requirements gathering and refinement sessions.
- As part of a scrum team, deliver high quality production-ready code, perform code reviews, and mentor more junior developers.
- Full-stack development - from CSS to database schema design.

Requirements
- 10+ years of Java web application development.
- Java Enterprise (Java EE/J2EE) and Hibernate frameworks experience.
- Broad familiarity with Spring (e.g., SpringBoot, SpringMVC, Spring Data, etc.).
- Knowledge of various web technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, etc.).
- Solid foundational understanding of Java programming.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of supporting technologies (e.g., git, Linux, SSL, etc.).
- Strong communication skills; comfortable talking to the business.
- Experience with microservices (Spring Cloud APIs) preferred.
- PCF experience (on prem) preferred.
- Jenkins experience preferred.
- GitHub experience preferred.
