Job description

  • Design and develop software solutions leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques for cyber defense and intelligence.
  • Requires expertise in Java and Python, ML/AI algorithms and frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Optimize and fine-tune ML/AI models.
  • Work in DevOps and Agile environments with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Utilize software project management tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark and Hadoop is beneficial., * Design and develop robust software solutions that leverage Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to enhance cyber defense and cyber intelligence solutions.
  • Evaluate models for applicability to mission problems, including speed, accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Understand standard AI / ML data formats for models, weights, and data interchange.
  • Apply industry standard techniques for compressing and fine-tuning models to fit target platforms, including CPU-only implementations and edge devices.
  • Optimize performance and efficiency of ML/AI models through continuous testing and refinement.
  • Design and develop ML and AI algorithms and integrate those ML and AI algorithms into systems to solve emerging mission critical problems.
  • Provide Leadership and support for corporate AI efforts, including the AI Working Group, Innovation Center, and proposal activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct research and experiments to identify and evaluate the most suitable ML/AI techniques for specific use cases.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ML/AI technologies and best practices; research new technologies and understand emerging challenges.
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java & Python based innovative solutions to address emerging mission challenges, using industry best practices and frameworks.
  • Document experiment results, prototype software solutions and ensure that all technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to jointly solve problems and find solutions as a team in an Agile development environment.
  • Perform software development on low and high side to build innovative solutions in both environments.
  • Work in both AWS and Azure cloud environments.
