Job description
This is a strategic opportunity to lead the design and evolution of Hudson's enterprise data architecture while helping shape the future of business intelligence, customer analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Data Architect will lead the implementation and optimization of our Snowflake cloud data platform, architect a centralized Customer Data Platform (CDP), and oversee the enterprise Qlik analytics environment to deliver scalable, high-performing data solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain Hudson's enterprise data architecture strategy.
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and administration of the Snowflake cloud data platform.
- Design and build a centralized Customer Data Platform (CDP) that creates a unified customer view across multiple data sources.
- Manage and optimize the enterprise Qlik Sense environment and related business intelligence solutions.
- Establish and maintain enterprise data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align data architecture with strategic business objectives.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to data analysts, BI developers, and data engineers.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models, documentation, and reporting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise analytics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Snowflake solutions.
- Experience designing Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or enterprise customer data ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data warehousing.
- Experience administering Qlik Sense or comparable enterprise business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Matillion, dbt, Fivetran, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting multi-location retail, automotive, or customer-focused organizations is preferred.
