Job description

Responsible for general daily work, server implementation, configuration, documentation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting. Participation in group projects and some project management includes coordination, prioritization and QA of server setup and other system administration tasks. Works closely with systems technicians, network administrators, developers, system architects and telecommunication support staff on implementation of systems as well as ongoing maintenance and diagnostics. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization., * Maintains daily team ticket queue and user processes (to include but not limited to network share structure, billing website administration, New/Term/Transfer users, etc.)

  • Prepares and configures server/systems equipment for deployment
  • Configures server security parameters including logging, anti-spy-ware systems, spam prevention, virus protection, etc.
  • Helps setup new Clinic locations (server room hardware, site printing, etc.)
  • Contacts vendors for server equipment quotes and maintenance quotes.
  • Reports system/domain/server malfunctions, outages, etc. to vendors and service providers as necessary
  • Helps keep server and application host system facets of disaster recovery operational, as well as keep disaster recovery and business continuity documentation current.
  • Evaluates technical requirements for hardware & software for specific projects
  • Recommends appropriate hardware/software solutions for various application server solutions
  • Stays abreast of and complies with company/department policies regarding computer systems & processes
  • Interacts and works professionally with the other IT groups based on needs of projects
  • Interacts with customers at a technical and tier 1 support level and provides user support including problem diagnosis & resolutions
  • Adheres to all company policies, including but not limited to, OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
  • Regular and dependable attendance.
  • Follows the core competencies set forth by the Company, which are available for review on CMSweb., * Follows established operations procedures to ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues.
  • Works effectively in a team environment to monitor, resolve, and escalate technical issues and document solutions.
  • Works after hours as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required: High school diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in the Information Technology field.

Preferred: Bachelors of Science in a computer technology related field.

Certificate/License: MCSE helpful.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, some evening and weekend work as needed.
