Job description

We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Engineer to support the design, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of mission-critical enterprise networking infrastructure. This role is ideal for a highly skilled network engineer who thrives in complex environments supporting global enterprise networks and secure communications.

As a Connectivity Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing high-performance network solutions while collaborating with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across the enterprise., The Connectivity Engineer will provide advanced engineering support for enterprise network infrastructure, including Wide Area Networks (WAN), Campus Area Networks (CAN), Data Center Networks (DCN/DCI), Network Security (NETSEC), and tactical networking environments. The successful candidate will design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize secure network solutions while supporting mission-critical operations with minimal downtime., * Design, implement, maintain, and modernize enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission operations.

  • Engineer and sustain Wide Area Networks (WAN), Campus Area Networks (CAN), Data Center Networks (DCN/DCI), Network Security (NETSEC), and tactical networking systems.
  • Analyze network performance, traffic patterns, transmission speeds, latency, throughput, and overall network health.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues using network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulation tools.
  • Conduct site surveys, network installations, configuration management, maintenance, modernization, and lifecycle sustainment activities.
  • Perform engineering support for network connectivity before and after system deployments.
  • Design and implement network solutions supporting server infrastructure, including load balancing, VPN technologies, firewall contexts, and Network Address Translation (NAT).
  • Configure and optimize enterprise routing, switching, and segmentation technologies including BGP, OSPF, VRF, VSS, and VLANs.
  • Design and implement secure interconnections across enterprise networks, security boundaries, and data centers using Government security standards.
  • Validate data flows, optimize end-to-end network performance, and maximize system capacity and availability.
