Job description

As one of the first points of contact for our customers, this position plays a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the day-to-day operations of our front office run smoothly., * Greet and assist customers with showroom purchases, service drop-offs, and service pickups

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions, scheduling, parts inquiries, and general information
  • Schedule service appointments and communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and updates
  • Assist customers with parts sales and place parts orders as needed
  • Process customer transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize computer systems daily for scheduling, customer communication, inventory management, and record keeping
  • Receive incoming shipments and ensure inventory and customer parts are accurately labeled and organized
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels and showroom inventory
  • Work closely with technicians and management to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and showroom environment

Requirements

Salvation Marine Services is seeking a full-time Front Desk & Customer Service Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for an organized, professional, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong computer skills, and has extensive knowledge of boats and marine products., * Strong knowledge of boats and marine products is required

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn dealership and inventory management software
  • Comfortable working in a computer-based environment for the majority of the workday
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or the marine industry is preferred
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
