Software Engineer in Test Hybrid RI NC NJ TX W2 Only

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automated testing for modern applications
• Strong proficiency with API and UI automation frameworks, specifically Karate and Cypress
• Solid SQL skills - including writing joins, filters, and aggregations for test validation and data inspection
• Experience with mocking, seeding, synthetic data creation, and backend state validation through SQL
• Moderate Java proficiency - capable of extending Karate-based frameworks and utilities
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for Cypress test automation
• Comprehensive understanding of testing REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems (Kafka experience a plus)
