Job description

Reporting to the Director of Foundation Operations, the Foundation Database and Applications Analyst is responsible for the management and use of the Foundation's database and applications systems and the data integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of day-to-day administrative operations of the overall data system. This position is essential to supporting the Foundation's programs by providing technical and analytics support to Foundation Programmatic Leaders and support staff. Responsibilities include general management and administration of the Foundation's database and application systems, ensuring routine audit and data integrity, production of reports and analytics for operational and strategic needs, providing technical support, guidance, and ongoing education for Foundation data systems, providing technical support for the Foundation's general operational needs, and the development and implementation of new software or technical solutions for the Foundation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent years of work experience in directly related field - Required

Experience:

  • 1-3 years program or project management (operations or technical projects preferred) in addition to equivalent experience outlined under Education - Required
  • 1-3 years data analytics or data systems management - Required

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of fundraising database systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience promoting, or desire to engage in, belonging and engagement initiatives, or lived or professional experience working with marginalized communities.
  • Must maintain high levels of professional and personal integrity at all times.
  • Strong work ethic with initiative to creatively solve problems, improve efficiencies and exceed expectations.
  • Working knowledge of fundraising database systems (The Raiser's Edge)
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Word and Outlook).
  • Ability to learn new technologies and evaluate applicability and fit to Health System requirements.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • High degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines.
  • Knowledge of data governance framework.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both verbally and in writing, with strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment while displaying flexibility in adapting to work environment.
  • Must have transportation and, availability to work some nights and weekends as needed.

Benefits & conditions

Work Shift:

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America), Pay Range: $47.95 - $71.90 Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
