Job description

The Senior Product Owner plays a pivotal role in advancing our healthcare analytics products by converting complex data into actionable insights and developing compelling data narratives to ensure an intuitive, user-friendly experience. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that empower healthcare organizations to make informed, data-driven decisions through a combination of clear narratives, AI-enabled features, and seamless data integration.

  • Own end to end full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and optimization.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for AI-powered analytics to enhance clinical, financial, and operational decision-making.
  • Translate strategic vision into actionable product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria tailored to healthcare analytics.
  • Serve as the bridge between executive leadership and development teams, ensuring clarity and continuity from ideation to execution.
  • Define data standards and metric definitions to ensure consistent, trusted analytics across member organizations and use cases.
  • Partner with development, engineering, QA, and member-facing teams to design intuitive, AI-enhanced dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Drive continuous discovery with internal and external stakeholders, translating feedback and insights into prioritized, actionable product requirements.
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning and enable sales and marketing efforts.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous feedback and iterative value.
  • Support the ownership of product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product performance and operational health, translating data into insights to determine recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, monitor product performance, audit product usage, measure product ROI, and inform new products and/or product enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

Requirements

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Information Systems or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, clinical operations, or healthcare systems, with a proven record of using data to improve performance and outcomes.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally within healthcare or analytics-focused environments.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), including embedded AI features.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED CT) and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate with cross-functional teams, manage product roadmaps, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and user needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong executive level communication skills, with experience translating complex information, and recommendations for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on data storytelling and user-centric design.
