Job description
- Uphold and improve the Quality Management System to meet IATF 16949:2016 and all applicable regulatory directives.
- Coordinate and perform investigations of production issues with QC Technicians to ensure customer and regulatory needs are met.
- Own the full lifecycle of nonconformances (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) to verified completion.
- Verify and maintain adherence to customer-specific requirements.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing Quality contact; build and sustain strong customer relationships.
- Participate in internal and external audits; prepare documentation, evidence, and responses.
- Deliver training for quality and production teams on product specifications and requirements.
- Support APQP for new product launches, including PPAP creation/submission and safe launch activities.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a product quality role with direct quality system compliance experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of APQP, Core Tools, and authoring full PPAP packages.
- Proficient with quality inspection methods and measurement tools.
- Working knowledge of blow molding, injection molding, and assembly processes (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical and computational skills; familiarity with structured problem-solving tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Creative, innovative, and confident decision-maker.
