As a Software Engineer (DevOps/.NET/Azure) you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that support Siemens Healthineers' Molecular Imaging Research & Development organization.

In this role, you will focus on building software applications using C#/.NET within an Azure-based environment, while also contributing to DevOps practices that improve developer workflows, system reliability, and deployment efficiency. You will work closely with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions supporting advanced medical imaging technologies.

You are responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C#/.NET.
  • Building and deploying applications within Azure-based environments.
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate implementation approaches.
  • Developing solutions that improve developer productivity, system performance, and scalability.
  • Supporting and enhancing developer tooling using Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, and related platforms.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve software quality and deployment efficiency.
  • Partnering with globally distributed teams across Knoxville, Hoffman Estates, Germany, and India to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Participating in Agile development processes while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

  • You have hands-on experience with C#/.NET development and enjoy building scalable applications.
  • You have experience working in Microsoft/Azure-based environments (Azure DevOps, cloud services, etc.).
  • You have exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, or automation (nice to have, not required).
  • You enjoy working across both software development and platform/tooling improvements.
  • You thrive in Agile teams operating across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • You are eager to learn new tools, technologies, and R&D processes in a fast-paced, innovative environment., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in software development
  • Hands-on experience with C#/.NET (required)
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms (preferred)
  • Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps tools, or automation frameworks (preferred)

Benefits & conditions

$76,330 - $104,951

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
