The Senior Java Developer will be part of a vital role in driving the development function forward by taking a forward thinking approach, co-providing ideas around development methods and consistently driving best practice and positive change whilst also providing co-support for any queries regarding any bespoke software issues or bugs. Experience in Java, Javascript, XML, JSON, HTML; -Knowledge of OO design principles and patterns; -Experience with Spring framework and Hibernate ORM; -Ability to translate use cases and requirements to working implementation; -University education and degree (IT related); -Minimum of 5 years experience in a software development function; -Enthusiastic coder; -Strong analytical and communication skills; -Good written and verbal skills in English; -Ability to work in a team-environment; -Strong attention to detail and thoroughness; -Perseverance to solve complex problems; -Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment; -Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly; -Enjoys a high-intensity environment
