Job description

You'll be part of a dynamic support team, providing day-to-day assistance to plant operators across the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role where you'll be resolving system issues, supporting users, and working closely with software developers and operational teams., * Managing and resolving multiple support queries from plant operators

  • Identifying and troubleshooting data issues within control systems
  • Reporting root causes of problems to software development teams
  • Supporting end-users in the effective use of applications
  • Working collaboratively with personnel across all levels of the site

Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle Database / SQL within a working environment (1+year)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to read source code (e.g. PL/SQL, C)

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Well organised and able to follow defined processes

  • Reliable, with strong attention to detail and attendance

  • Happy to undergo BPSS security clearance prior to starting, and to be enhanced to SC whilst in assignments.

  • Our client is unable to sponsor candidates who are on a works visa, * Degree or higher qualification in a software-related discipline

  • Interest in software systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Willingness to learn and develop within a technical support role

  • People who are local to site would be preferred
