Job description
Reporting into the commercial and solutions function, you will play a key role in supporting new business opportunities by designing practical and commercially viable warehouse solutions., * Analyse customer data, operational requirements and business objectives to develop effective warehousing solutions.
- Design warehouse layouts, storage strategies and operational flows that optimise space utilisation, productivity and service performance.
- Develop labour models, capacity plans and resource requirements to support customer proposals and operational planning.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate MHE solutions aligned to operational and commercial requirements.
- Produce detailed solution designs, assumptions and operational models to support tender submissions and customer proposals.
- Support the end-to-end bid and tender process, working closely with Commercial, Finance and Operational stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, storage methodologies and fulfilment processes.
- Proven experience in warehouse layout design, capacity planning and operational modelling.
- Proficiency in solutions design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar warehouse modelling software.
- Experience building labour models, productivity assumptions and operational cost models to support commercial proposals.
- Understanding of warehouse equipment selection, including MHE specification and operational requirements.
- Exposure to tender management, solution development and customer proposal activities.
- Experience supporting new business implementations, project delivery or operational change programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' Solutions Design experience who feels ready for more responsibility. You'll get involved in some interesting projects and gain exposure well beyond traditional solutions design, including commercial tenders, project delivery and operational implementations.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 plus
benefits.Fully remote role with occasional travel to customer meetings
