Job description
- Act as the primary point of contact for managed service contracts, ensuring effective contract administration.
- Monitor contract performance, financial performance, and compliance with agreed service standards.
- Identify breaches of contract conditions and support the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
- Resolve complex contract queries, complaints, and disputes with contractors and customers.
- Maintain and update the service Contract Register, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Analyse large datasets and produce detailed performance reports using multiple software platforms.
- Process financial information accurately, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Support procurement activities and contract reviews to achieve value for money.
- Develop performance reports, service strategies, and recommendations for service improvements.
- Work collaboratively with managers, contractors, councillors, government departments, and partner organisations.
- Ensure Business Continuity Plans remain up to date and fit for purpose.
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
Requirements
Seven Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Contracts and Data Officer to join a busy team in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and analytical professional with experience in contract management, performance monitoring, and data analysis to support the delivery of high-quality public services.
You'll play a key role in managing service contracts, analysing performance data, ensuring contractual compliance, and working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous service improvement., * Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3, ILM Level 3, or equivalent vocational qualification).
- Previous experience in contract management, contract administration, or procurement.
- Experience analysing complex datasets and producing performance reports.
- Strong understanding of contract management principles and performance monitoring.
- Experience managing financial information and budget controls.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Knowledge of local government processes and public sector contract management is desirable.
- Ability to travel as required for the role., * contract management, contract administration, or procurement: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
