The Data BI and Integration team develops and manages our self-serve data platform for various business areas. We organise our data engineering and data products around specific business domains. These data domains are extensive, covering areas such as Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Digital, Products, Opticians, and more.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that support business decisions.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary squad focused on domain- and project-delivery.
  • Develop and manage a self-serve data platform for various business areas.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer on existing data pipelines., * Build and maintain data pipelines that support business decisions.

  • Develop and manage a self-serve data platform for various business areas, including Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Digital, Products, and Opticians.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer on existing data pipelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in analytics and/or data science environments.
  • Strong skills in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with large-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience with Spark or distributed compute frameworks.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and warehousing solutions.
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling is preferred.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Exposure to BI/MI, ML, AI, or data engineering automation.
  • Understanding of modern data engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience working in agile delivery teams and comfortable with end-to-end ownership of work.
  • Knowledge of Retail or Pharmacy data domains.
