Requirements
This is a senior hire for someone who enjoys owning the journey from raw data through to meaningful insights. You'll be someone who is comfortable working between data engineering and analytics, data source to data insight and working across multiple skillsets.
If you have worked in the capacity of a data analyst and a data engineer at any point in your career, you'll likely feel right at home in this role. As this is a senior hire, we're looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and shape how we work, however this is not a people management role.
You'll work across dbt, Redshift, Sigma and our wider data stack to create well-tested, well-documented models that support revenue reporting, KPI tracking, customer insight, product usage analysis and company-wide decision making.
You'll build trusted, reusable, business-ready data assets that will be used for self-serve analytics across the whole business. This includes sales, marketing, customer success, product, tech and finance. This is a highly collaborative role and includes supporting teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Finance.
Beyond the technical side of the role, you're someone who can bridge the gap between data and people. You have the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights, work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and use data to influence and drive decisions that help to shape the future of Signable., * Excited about working in data and sharing the passion with stakeholders across the business
- You have worked with subscription, product usage or sales data
- Technically capable working with complex SQL, designing and building reliable pipelines with dbt, storytelling with BI tools
- Experience with testing, version control, documentation and data quality
- Confident challenging unclear definitions or assumptions, using that to work with business definitions and translate them into data logic
- Able to build data foundations that others can trust and use, knowing the importance of balancing accuracy alongside speed
- Confident communicating technically to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Happy working in a growing team where standards and processes are still evolving
And a massive bonus if:
- You have worked in a SaaS business
- You have supported data literacy, self-serve analytics or data champion programmes
- You have experience building semantic layers or metrics layers
- You have worked on AI-ready analytics or governed self-serve data
Please note: The qualifications and experiences above act as a loose guide to what we're looking for. We'd still love to hear from you if you have more or less experience, so long as the core skills can be demonstrated.
