Job description

The Database Developer (SQL) - Project Lead will oversee and execute database development projects supporting public health initiatives, including data migrations, data warehousing, and electronic case reporting (eCR). This role requires leadership in SQL database development, ensuring technical needs are met for STD and HIV staff, with a focus on project delivery within a remote work environment. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support technical project needs related to STD and HIV public health data systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
  • Ensure data integrity and security compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in SQL database development.
  • Ability to pass a 7-year standard background check and credit history check.
  • Eligibility to work verified through E-Verify.
  • Experience working on data migration and data warehousing projects.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience with electronic case reporting (eCR) projects.
  • Familiarity with public health data systems and reporting requirements.
  • Project leadership or coordination experience.
  • Comfort working with remote teams and virtual collaboration tools.
