Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to lead the design, development, integration, and delivery of Salesforce solutions for Insurance clients. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can guide development teams, drive architectural decisions, establish best practices, and ensure successful project delivery across global teams., * Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce platform technologies.

  • Drive technical decision-making, including evaluating configuration versus custom code approaches.

  • Oversee the development of scalable solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.

  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations using REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps.

  • Guide development teams to ensure solution quality, performance, scalability, and compliance with best practices.

  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote technical excellence across the team.

  • Own technical estimates for design, development, testing, deployment, and training activities.

  • Coordinate with client stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

  • 9+ years of overall Salesforce experience with strong technical leadership capabilities.

  • 6+ years of experience delivering solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce integration solutions using REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Insurance clients.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, distributed, and offshore delivery teams.

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and platform best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery models.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills., + Experience leading enterprise Salesforce transformation programs.

  • Additional Salesforce Architect certifications.

  • Experience performing solution governance and technical architecture reviews.

  • Prior experience in client-facing consulting or leadership roles.

Benefits & conditions

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 and $140,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
