Job description
Serve as the lead architect for the ServiceNow platform, responsible for designing, validating, and overseeing scalable and maintainable solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules. This role leads the development of custom applications and workflows, defines and governs integration architecture-including APIs, MID Servers, web services, and data integrations-and ensures all implementations comply with DoD cybersecurity standards, RMF requirements, ServiceNow best practices, and zero trust principles. The architect conducts architecture and code reviews, drives performance optimization and reliability improvements, and guides developers and administrators through technical direction and best practices. Responsibilities also include translating business requirements into scalable technical designs, maintaining comprehensive documentation such as architecture diagrams, data models, and configuration baselines, and leading platform upgrade planning and execution.
Requirements
7+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience

Experience architecting complex ServiceNow environments

Proficiency with major ServiceNow modules

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and platform configuration

Experience in DoD or regulated environments

Ability to interface with senior government stakeholders

Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams - Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)

ServiceNow CMA or CTA certifications.

CSA, CAD, or Implementation Specialist certifications.

Experience supporting NAVAIR, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or Navy programs.

Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53 controls.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems.
Benefits & conditions
Compensation: $85/hr. -- 100/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
