Job description
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end manual and automated testing solutions for enterprise web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST API testing, Java/TypeScript, and modern CI/CD practices. This role requires working closely with Agile teams to ensure high-quality software releases while driving automation best practices, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI-assisted testing solutions. Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own end-to-end manual and automated test suites.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST API automation.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Validate user stories during sprint execution to ensure early defect detection.
- Lead testing activities for assigned modules and own release quality sign-off.
- Define and optimize automation strategies and execution plans.
- Improve automation stability and framework performance.
- Utilize AI-assisted testing solutions for test generation, smart test selection, self-healing automation, and failure analysis.
- Execute automated tests on cloud/grid platforms.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Update Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Log, track, and retest defects.
- Review automation code and enforce QA best practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and support continuous process improvement.

Performs tests in strict compliance independently, guides other testers and assists test leads for the following:
