Job description

The IT Service Desk Support Specialist provides support for basic incident resolution and requests reported to the IT Service Desk for all HCA Organizations. Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components. This call center supports a 24/7 operation.

What you will do in the role:

  • Provide technical support to the end user
  • Provide troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair for end user systems
  • Collect information through constructive customer conversation
  • Access all available support tools and staff to resolve issues, Schedule & Availability:
  • This position is part of a critical, 24/7 infrastructure operation
  • Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must have the flexibility to work non traditional hours
  • Potential shifts may include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends and holiday rotations

Requirements

  • Experience with call center techniques
  • Competency in call center tracking tools
  • Prior experience supporting customers in use of application software
  • Proficiency in using support software tools
  • Mobile device support experience
  • Apple product support experience
  • Strong understanding of HCA security-related procedures
  • Understanding of Healthcare technology industry
  • Basic network troubleshooting and support experience
  • General desktop support experience
  • Position required high speed internet 60 MB Download and 10 MB Upload, No WiFi
