Job description

Client is seeking a strategic, hands-on Data Management Manager to lead a high-performing team of 40 50 data professionals responsible for enterprise data platforms, governance, modernisation, and operational excellence. This role will oversee legacy enterprise data environments while driving the migration toward modern cloud-native Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures. Requirements

  • Experience leading Data Lake and enterprise data modernization initiatives is highly preferred, * 8+ years of Data Management, Data Engineering, or Data Operations experience
  • 5+ years leading large technical teams (20+ professionals, preferably 40+)
  • Strong people leadership and organizational management skills
  • Enterprise Data Platform experience (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
  • Data Lake and Lakehouse Architecture experience
  • Enterprise Data Modernization and Migration experience
  • ETL/ELT design and implementation experience
  • Data Modeling and Distributed Data Systems expertise
  • Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Strategic planning and enterprise program leadership experience
