Requirements

You are a Data Modernization System Engineer with strong project management skills who will provide the engineering and project management to support the customer's Chief Data Architect data modernization efforts to streamline data processing.

You will act as the contract's face for a critical effort that will change the data environment for the customer. The role will work directly with the customer to identify, capture and service new and sometimes ambiguous requirements while also keeping an eye out for new opportunities for the program in support of the customer.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone that can take vague guidance and develop a course of action, interface well with customers and other stake holders, and recognize areas for growth. Ideally, you will have familiarity with either the data movement and architecture of the customer, or knowledge and experience with SIGINT operations, particularly data acquisition and movement., * High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience. OR,

Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. OR,

Master's degree or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience

Agile Project Management expertise with hands-on SAFe/Scrum experience and utilization of Jira & Confluence.

Strong communication, facilitation, and impediment-removal skills; adept at leading meetings, documenting outcomes, and aligning teams with senior leadership.

Deep understanding of the customer's data-flow architecture and ability to translate vague requirements into prioritized, actionable development tasks.

Proven track record in release planning, sprint reviews, Scrum-of-Scrums, and managing Git workflows (commits, merges, pushes).

Experience guiding enterprise-scale software development teams, providing technical feedback, and maintaining excellent time-management and organization.

Must possess a current US Security Clearance TS/SCI w/ poly Desired Skills:

Previous experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment

Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe)

Experience with Apache NiFi

Operational SIGINT experience

Experience with the unclassified development environment

Experience with GitLab Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
