Job description

An employer is looking for a ServiceNow Scrum Master to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will be a part of a ServiceNow implementation. The company is looking to transition three legacy systems into ServiceNow. They have already transitioned the telecommunication and CMDB module and now moving onto orders management. This candidate will be responsible facilitating either one large, complex agile team, or several small agile teams as part of a larger Agile Release Train (ART. They will responsible for conducting and collaborating on project deliverables for the daily, weekly, monthly scrum session. The main goal of this candidate will to help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. The selected candidate will work with team members, with other Agile Scrum Masters, and with support personnel to ensure that the team's commitments at the Program Increment (PI) Planning are met. Communication across team members is key to identify any impediments that may prevent team progress while working mitigation plans.

Requirements

Secret Clearance ability to cage up to a TSSCI

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP).

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 4-8 experience within technical development

Previous experience working as a Scrum Master on a software development project

Experience using SAFe as the agile development methodology.

Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira)

Experience working with senior stakeholders to understand project details and deadlines Experience working as a Scrum Master on a ServiceNow implementation

Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.

Experience applying test automation, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment to achieve built-in quality by the team.

Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams.

Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.

Benefits & conditions

$60/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
