Job description

As a Senior IBM MDM & Integration Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-level Master Data Management applications and integrations. You will play a critical role in improving data integrity, streamlining business processes, and ensuring secure, scalable system operations. This position requires strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere MDM, integration technologies, and enterprise application support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across complex systems., * Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Master Data Management applications and integration platforms

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements for enterprise MDM systems and related applications
  • Write functional and technical specification documents for system improvements
  • Collaborate with database teams to develop and execute SQL scripts for data processing
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell and Linux-based tools for automation and system operations
  • Monitor application performance across production and non-production environments
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and support ticket management processes
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation processes for system changes
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and post-implementation validation
  • Work with infrastructure and network teams to resolve system and integration issues
  • Support certificate deployment and security compliance activities
  • Maintain system documentation and update it based on enhancements and upgrades
  • Integrate systems using Kafka, ensuring reliable message processing and system communication
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development supporting enterprise-scale systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM)
  • Deep understanding of MDM data models, entities, transactions, and batch processing
  • Experience with Apache Kafka including message processing and integration
  • Strong experience with Java/J2EE development and REST/SOAP services
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments including scripting and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in SQL development for Oracle or SQL Server databases
  • Experience working with application servers such as WildFly
  • Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling using CRON jobs
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and container environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries (preferred)
  • Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments (preferred)
  • Experience with log monitoring tools such as ELK Stack (preferred)
