Quality Assurance Tester

Quality Assurance Tester. (Farmington, MI, or other unanticipated locations throughout U.S.). Testing and identifying test scope, test planning, test execution, reporting metrics and tracking defect management activities. Working closely with the development team to ensure effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed. Providing technical assistance in processes, tools and techniques within the team. Performing validation tests to ensure that the developed functionality meets the specifications. Utilizing JIRA to document issues found while testing and prioritizing defects as per the severity of the defect for defect resolution. Participating in peer review of test cases or test scripts for assigned functionalities. Generating defect reports, tracking status of each defect and analyzing. Working with application development teams and business end users to develop and validate test requirements. Engaging in post-project audits and lessons learned sessions to identify

areas for process improvement and knowledge sharing. Developing SQL queries for data verification and validation to reduce testing time. Executing and identifying issues in critical functionality of the project. Applying knowledge of rating and billing systems in telecom. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, or closely related field + 2 years of experience as a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst or related position in software development. Must have two years of experience in Power BI, Callidus cloud system, and SCRUM.
