Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fiber Technician to support data center projects. This role is responsible for installing, terminating, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cabling systems in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling systems in data center environments
• Prepare fiber cables, enclosures, splice trays, and panels
• Conduct OTDR, light source, and power meter testing; accurately interpret results
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic network issues
• Maintain clear documentation (test results, labeling, as-builts, and splice records)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation
• Follow industry standards and safety policies

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, extended standing)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, * Data center or mission-critical experience
• BICSI certification or equivalent

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
