Job description
The ServiceNow Platform Architect is responsible for defining and leading the overall platform vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and business objectives. This role provides architectural leadership across the ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring that solutions are scalable, governed, integrated, and built in accordance with enterprise standards and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor and technical leader, driving platform governance, enterprise architecture, innovation, and delivery excellence across multiple ServiceNow programs and stakeholders., * Own and drive the ServiceNow platform vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with enterprise IT and business goals.

Identify opportunities to expand platform capabilities and maximize business value across the organization.

Evaluate emerging ServiceNow features, products, and innovations to support platform advancement.

Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess and adopt new ServiceNow capabilities.

Provide architectural direction to ensure all solution designs adhere to platform standards, target architecture, and industry-leading practices.

Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, design standards, and technical guidelines for the ServiceNow platform.

Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with long-term platform strategy.

Guide multiple teams and delivery partners toward a unified technical vision.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of ServiceNow programs, from planning and architecture through implementation and post-deployment optimization.

Act as a program-level architect across multiple workstreams and initiatives.

Support delivery teams in resolving complex architecture, integration, and design challenges.

Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical solutions, and enterprise architecture standards.

Identify and mitigate risks related to platform scalability, performance, resilience, and technical debt.

Drive continuous improvement and optimization across the ServiceNow platform landscape.

Ensure the platform architecture supports enterprise-scale growth and evolving business needs.

Promote sustainable design and technical quality across all implementations.

Engage with executive stakeholders to influence platform direction and strategic investment decisions.

Champion the adoption of architecture best practices across ServiceNow teams, partners, and business functions.

Provide structured feedback to ServiceNow product and engineering teams to influence future product direction.

Build strong relationships with internal leaders, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution strategy, and program leadership.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale platform architecture initiatives in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels, influencing executive stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Strong experience designing governance models, architecture frameworks, and multi-workflow enterprise solutions.
- Ability to function as a program-level architect across multiple teams and partner organizations.
- Expertise in delivery governance, technology strategy, and enterprise transformation.

Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, data governance, service mapping, and system interoperability.

Experience leading large, cross-functional ServiceNow transformation programs.

Strong understanding of delivery lifecycle management, release governance, and post-implementation optimization.

Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining alignment to strategic architecture goals.
