Job description

Job Summary Interface with all branches for quality escapes both internal and external Maintain quality charts, graphs and facilitate rapid root cause at all branches. Work on Continuous Improvement projects with branches to improve quality and reduce escapes. Requirements

  • Must have API 510, 570, and 653 certifications
  • Must have NDT certifications in UT, MT, PT, and VT
  • Travel up to 70% within continental US
  • Meet Customer requirements for Quality Metrics
  • Interface with Branch Quality Leadership on all quality issues
  • Ensure all branches meet root cause and customer metrics
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of inspection processes and controls.
  • PC literacy (for example, Excel, Word, data entry, computer transactions) required
  • Ability to read prints and drawings
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies, * Must have API 510, 570, and 653 certifications
  • Must have NDT certifications in UT, MT, PT, and VT
  • Has knowledge in Quality Science Arena
  • Knowledge of Aerospace
  • Root Cause & Corrective Action including Continuous Improvement

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Related field
  • 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing and quality control methods and techniques.
  • Be AS9100 auditor certified or ability to become AS9100 auditor
