Job description
Lead and mentor a small development team; provide technical guidance and supervisory oversight.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis and make recommendations for system improvements.
- Design, develop, code/program, debug, install, document, troubleshoot, test, and maintain information systems.
- Approve timesheets, conduct performance evaluations, and hold regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
- Interact with team members, including other developers, DBAs, and business analysts, in a collaborative environment.
- Develop complex SSRS and Power BI reports, adhering to development standards.
- Independently solve complex business and technical problems.
- Support application deployment and post-release maintenance.
- Participate in process improvement and solution brainstorming for judicial operations.

Requirements
Experience leading/managing small Agile development teams, including code review and performance management.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on Angular/TypeScript development.

Experience with Angular framework upgrades and modernizing legacy applications (AngularJS/.NET Framework to Angular/.NET Core).

Proficient in Docker, containerization of .NET apps, Docker Compose, and container orchestration.

Strong knowledge of enterprise integration: message queuing (IBM MQ), SOAP/WSDL, SignalR.

Full-stack development in Agile/government/court environments, managing multi-generation codebases.

Skilled in reporting technologies (SSRS, Power BI).

Experience with agentic AI coding tools and workflows.

Familiarity with public-sector/court application development.

Expertise in relational database design, stored procedures, query optimization (SQL Server).

Proficient in N-tier, layered, microservices architecture, design patterns (repository, unit-of-work, DI, DDD).

Strong in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API/Core, Angular (v8+), TypeScript, and migration from legacy AngularJS.

Skilled in authentication, security (JWT, SSO, API gateway, anti-forgery tokens).

Experience with Microsoft IIS, Windows Server deployments, and multi-environment config management.

Knowledge of containerization tools/platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/Azure Container Apps).

Familiar with real-time push (SignalR), background job processing, and messaging patterns.

SOLID principles, unit testing (tSQLt, xUnit), TDD practices.

Advanced source control (TFVC/Git), multi-team workflows.

Ability to modernize legacy applications and decompose monoliths to microservices.

SQL Server performance tuning and large-scale data management.

Leadership in Agile processes, code review, and technical mentoring.

Proficient in agentic AI tools for development productivity and code quality. Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.

Five (5) years of experience in software system design, programming, and/or support, including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
