One of our client in Columbia, SC seeks an intermediate System Software Programmer (.NET Web Application Developer) . This position joins the Division of Technology Services (DTS) to support the ongoing development, modernization, and maintenance of mission-critical applications., * Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based applications using the .NET framework.

  • Maintain and enhance existing legacy systems while contributing to modernizing efforts.
  • Build and support secure, scalable N-tier architecture applications.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, messaging systems, and data interchange formats.

Requirements

  • .NET Architectures: 3+ years designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems.
  • Web Applications: 3+ years developing web-based applications with N-tier architecture.
  • Core Languages & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC (version 3 or higher).
  • Libraries & Web Services: 2+ years of hands-on experience with jQuery and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related quantitative discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).

Technical Environment

  • IDEs & Databases: Visual Studio (2010 2022), MS SQL Server 2016, MS Server 2012 R2, IIS 8.5
  • Source Control: TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • Core Tech Stack: Entity Framework 6, Angular (PrimeNG), SSRS, and Responsive Design tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Practical hands-on experience with Angular and PrimeNG UI components.
  • Strong understanding of responsive UI design principles.
  • Proven track record working with Entity Framework.

Soft Skills

  • Clear communication skills to explain technical design choices to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
